Drink 8 cups of water a day

They've been drilling this healthy habit into our heads for ages, but it still stands true--sort of. The truth is, drink enough water every day. Depending on where you live (the desert or the tropical rain forest), you may need more or less. If you exercise a lot and sweat in the process (you already have healthy habits), you'll need more water. Nonetheless, about 8 cups (1 cup is equal to 8 oz.)of water a day is a good goal. You should drink enough water to keep your urine fairly clear, just a tad yellow. That will give your body enough water to regulate body temperature, flush out wastes, and carry oxygen and nutrients to cells and more.
